Christian formation at St. Elizabeth’s takes many forms. The most obvious one is Sunday School for our children and youth, and we were proud to present several young people for confirmation this past October. There are multiple opportunities for adult formation as well.
We often have seasonal education, book, or reflection groups in Advent and Lent. For the past three years this had included a joint Lenten Study program with St. Mark’s in Burlington. The topics have included Addiction and Recovery, an Interfaith Education Program, and an Episcopal Lenten study program.
A lay-led book and Bible study during the workday is active when schedules permit, and we also include formation in the Sunday service.
